What is DTF printing?

DTF (direct-to-film) printing prints your design onto a special film, which is then heat-pressed onto the shirt. The result is sharp detail, rich full-colour artwork, and a soft, flexible finish that moves with the fabric. It works well for logos with many colours, gradients, and photographs, and it looks great on both white and black shirts.

Preparing your artwork

• Upload [PNG, JPG, or PDF file (max. 20 MB). For best print quality, use 300 DPI at the intended print size. A transparent PNG is preferred.
• Use the highest-quality version you have, not a screenshot or a small image from social media
• Keep text large enough to read at the print size
• For team shirts, send the names, numbers, and spelling you want printed

We check every file before printing and contact you if something needs adjusting.

• Wash inside out in cold water with mild detergent
• Do not bleach
• Tumble dry on low heat or hang dry
• Do not iron directly on the print
• Do not dry clean

How is DTF different from screen printing?
Screen printing is best for very large runs of one or two colours. DTF handles full-colour artwork and photos without setup costs, so it suits small orders and detailed designs.

Will the print crack or peel?
With the care instructions above, DTF prints are made to stay flexible and last through repeated washing.

Can I print a photo?
Yes. Pet portraits and family photos work well. Use a clear, high-resolution image.

Can I print on the front and back?
Yes. Choose a front and a back print when you order.

Can I get a different shirt colour?
Right now we offer white and black. Contact us if you need something else.
